Answers to common questions about delivery, billing, placement, and securing your BlueBox.

How do billing and payments work with BlueBox?

Container rentals are billed on a monthly basis. The rental starts on the day your container is delivered and lasts for a full month. You pay for transportation each time it happens, so you do not have to pay everything all at once.

How long do I have to load or unload my BlueBox container?

You can keep your container for as long as you need. Many customers use it as a staging area to keep their current or new home uncluttered during the moving process.

Where can I put my BlueBox container?

Most BlueBox containers fit on standard driveways. They can be placed on a hard pack surface such as compact gravel, dirt, concrete, or asphalt. If you need street-side placement, check with your local highway department for right-of-way permit requirements.

Do I have to be there for delivery?

No, although we encourage you to be there if possible. Our delivery personnel will contact you to go over placement details and provide a delivery ETA.

Do I need a lock for my BlueBox?

Yes. You will need a lock for your BlueBox. We recommend a circular lock, and locks are available for purchase if you need one.
